Job Description:Manage multiple IT development projects to enhance the TIENET product Enhance Customized TIENET implementations for clients Consults with other support staff to provide a speedy resolution to customer problems when necessary Author development documentation Primary work is for the NYC Board of Education, located in Manhattan, NY Ability to travel Performs other duties as assigned Have input to development roadmap, particularly as it pertains to the NYCBOE development Complete TIENET development including research, development, testing and documentation using best practices standards Interact with NYCBOE client regarding development issues Ensures speedy and accurate responses to customer development needs Participates in regularly scheduled development staff meetings Complete assignments in a timely fashion
Education/Experience:Experience required in C# / Visual Basic, MS-SQL, ASP.NET, Web services, MS SQL Server and ADO.NET Experience required in Web UI Design, ASP.NET, C#, Custom controls, Sophisticated Ajax, DHTML, DOM and JavaScript Experience required in SQL Server 2005 Analysis Service, Data Mining Services and Reporting Services, ADOMD.NET and C# Four years of architect / developer experience Must possess a high level of comfort to initiate and complete product enhancement projects Good time management and independent work skills are necessary for this position Knowledge of special education or other educational applications is a plus Ability to troubleshoot problems with clients and bring issues to resolution is required in this position
