Plans & Policy Specialist
Functional Responsibility
Research, develop, write, review and comment on corporate policy and procedures relating to and affecting the performance of the NSA/CSS acquisition mission. Review and coordinate ODNI, DoD and National policies affecting NSA/CSS acquisition activities, and recommend official NSA positions on these policies to NSA management. Ensure NSA/CSS acquisition policy and directives comply with laws, executive orders, and DoD or DCI guidance. Provide assistance to the program and project managers through the development and implementation of Agency-wide Acquisition Management tools, to include decision-analysis tools, and the making available of existing information within NSA.
Professional Experience
One (1) year of demonstrated experience working on a primary or senior level staff in the federal government or military. Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in a federal government acquisition discipline within DoD. Two (2) years of combined demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling, process analysis and basic research gathering. Two (2) years of combined demonstrated experience in singularly creating and editing documents.
This position requires candidates to be United States Citizens and hold a lifestyle polygraph.
