Petroleum Engineer GS-5/7/9

Do you have a degree in Engineering or education that is equivalent? Minerals Management Service, Gulf of Mexico Region is looking for motivated individuals with an interest in the Petroleum Engineer field to join their staff of Geoscientist!

This position is developmental and directly related to safety of operations, protection of equipment, and conservation of natural resources and preservation of the environment as required by congressional laws, federal regulations, and lease stipulations.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of basic engineering or petroleum engineering concepts and principles that would be acquired through a bachelors degree program in engineering  or equivalent graduate study and/or experience which would enable the engineer to perform training and entry level duties. 

If selected for this position you will have the opportunity to work in one of the support offices in the Gulf of Mexico OCS Region, located in Jefferson, Louisiana.

This position offers a promotion potential of up to a GS-12.
