'7Travel within the western regional territory with sales staff and management calling on (but not limited to) distributors, representatives, contractors, end users, inter-company personnel and authorities having jurisdiction and specifiers in all markets to promote and secure orders for all KFF products. '7Operate as an ambassador for the company by promoting all aspects of Kidde Fire Fighting and UTCFS. Maintain a positive attitude and support the Company's policies, procedures, products and programs internally and externally. '7Cultivate customer contacts with existing and potential customers to maximize business opportunities and ensure sensitivity and response to changing customer and market needs. '7Plan and organize sales visits and provide regular reports, market information, competitor information and customer feedback to the Company. This includes information to enhance product development. '7Ensure that all opportunities are maximized and aim for an efficient close out of orders, with early visibility to manufacturing. '7Prepare quotations and bids when required and ensure conformance with the Company pricing policies and the standard terms and conditions of the Company. Ensure that any deviations are properly approved according to Company policy. '7Direct and evaluate the effectiveness of Independent Sales Representatives and Agents, ensuring that they are adequately trained in the Company products, and recommending to Company management for approval the changing out those who do not meet the Company performance standards. '7Forecast business activity on a regular basis to assist marketing with lead-time and other competitive information as requested. '7Assist the finance department with providing information to assist in setting up accounts and credit limits. Assists as required in negotiating collection. '7Provide information to assist in the development of annual budgets and sales forecasts. '7Maintain appropriate expenditure discipline and follows supervisory guidelines and Company policy. '7Manage the allocation of tasks to direct reports, set targets and objectives and ensure that a quality professional service is provided to all existing and potential customers. '7Familiarize yourself with all of the necessary technical and commercial elements of the product lines assigned to your responsibility so that you can be as effective as possible in your role. '7Provide market feedback related to new product needs, competitive information, and regional economic factors as required. '7Accept and complete any special assignments that may from time to time be requested of you by KFF management. BA or BS with MBA preferred '7Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work within a matrix type management structure and be a good communicator. '7Must have good analytical skills and have a strong commercial awareness. '7Must have excellent computer literacy in excel, word and PowerPoint. '7Must also be a confident presenter and willing to get involved in a diverse range of business related activities. '75-7 years work experience in fire protection industry.
