The Operations Service Group (OSG) of the Systems Integration and Technical Support Services (SITSS) Product Line within NSGB specializes in providing training, exercises, planning, concepts of operation, hazardous response, and other operational services to both Government and commercial clients throughout the world. OSG is seeking an Operations Officer with operations and exercise experience to work on site with the customer in the National Capital Region on a full-time basis. Some domestic travel is anticipated. Salary will be determined based on education and experience. A full benefits package will be provided. Relocation support may be available. The successful candidate must have a current Secret security clearance. DESCRIPTION Selected applicant will be responsible for supporting an Operations Cell in the Washington, DC area. Support will involve the planning and execution of security and emergency management response operations in support of anti-terrorism operations and other all-hazards incidents and disasters. Responsibilities will include the writing of operations plans and concept of operations in support of these plans. Additional responsibilities will include the support of various exercises and the training of response personnel. The position will require the applicant to have excellent written and verbal skills and to be able to work and contribute as a member of an operations and planning team. The successful candidate must be a U.S. citizen and have a current secret security clearance and be able to maintain this clearance. The place of duty for this position will be in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. - 10+ years experience in planning and organizing military or emergency response exercises. - 10+ years in logistics, training and education. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - U. S. Citizen and Secret Security Clearance, individual must be able to maintain a Secret clearance. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Masters degree. - Previous Military or Government experience. - Project management experience. - Team oriented and possesses the ability to work closely with other team members. - Detail oriented with the ability to work under deadlines. - Top Secret security clearance.
