Assesses network performance using Spectrum Network Manager. Sets up and observes network systems manage TLA Stacks and all ACL's. Recommends upgrades or improvements, models and maintains the Spectrum systems. Supports development of technical standards and application uses. Resolves network problems and offers technical assistance to users. Required 3 years experience working on DOD networks. Experience with Routers/Switches (CISCO, NORTEL, FORESYSTEM). 2 years experience in any of the following: Windows Workstation Operating Systems (2K, and above), Windows Server Operating Systems (2K3 and above), Windows Active Directory, Unix (Solaris, HPUX, BSD, Linux (Red Hat), Storage Area Network (SAN), Active Directory services. 2+ Years with BS or 0+ Years with MS 2 years experience in Spectrum Network Manager, (Computer Associates, (CA)) Spectrum Certified Engineer (SCE) Desired 3 years experience on Army LandWarNet.Experience with Routers/Switches (CISCO, NORTEL, FORESYSTEM), CISCO PIX Firewalls, Cisco Content Engines, Bluecoat.Expereince with VPN devices. 2 years experience on the Army's LandWarNet in any of the following: Windows Workstation Operating Systems (2K, and above), Windows Server Operating Systems (2K3 and above), Windows Active Directory, Unix (Solaris, HPUX, BSD, Linux (Red Hat), Storage Area Network (SAN), Active Directory services.
