Responsible for: -Understanding and analyzing DIBCSI (Defense Industrial Base Cyber Security Initiative) requirements -Directly supporting assigned OG to fulfill DIBCSI requirements -Working with assigned OG/LOBs and EIT field support to effect change as required to meet DIBCSI requirements -Making technical recommendations related to IT security in the context of DIBCSI requirements and business needs -Performing technical product evaluations to include but not limited to forensic analysis tools, data ex-filtration tools, vulnerability management tools and a variety of other tools and technologies focused on ensuring the security of CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) -Maintaining technical expertise in all areas of computer security and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc -Assisting in the completion of computer security self inspection checklists, scorecards and self assessments for assigned OG -Execution of DIBCSI PMO objectives -Moving seamlessly from hands on technical tasks to documentation and other non technical tasking. This is NOT a purely hands on technical role -Deploying out to assigned OG and associated LOB to directly collect data or facilitate the collection of data to support the DIBCSI mission -Assisting in the creation of technical and policy documentation -Treating internal and external customers with dignity, courtesy and respect at all times Accountable to: -DIBCSI PMO team -Assigned OG and LOBs -Inc. staff -DoD customers Authority to: -Request data from Inc., OGs and LOBs -Task DIBCSI PMO staff as appropriate -Recommend IT security technology and improvements subject to peer and OG review -Engage OGs to collect data and meet DIBCSI requirements Required 8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS or 3+ Years with PhD Forensics, vulnerability management, patch management, incident response/management People are the greatest asset in any Company ...
