This position requires a high level active security clearance. Applicant will provide Program Office support (Programmatic and Technical) to senior level personnel from Navy, DoD Civilian organizations and prime equipment manufacturers . This position requires DoD experience to include, but not be limited to: 1. Familiar with US Navy organizations, rank, roles and responsibilities. 2. Familiar with Above Water Sensors including AEGIS AN/SPY-1 Radar Systems and All Variants. 3. Understand the principles of Radar and Electromagnetic Wave Theory. 4. Perform Systems Engineering Analysis. 5. Familiar with high level shipboard capabilities requirements and documents such as ORD's and able to review specifications. 6. Familiar with emerging US Navy Open Architecture guidelines and directives. 7. Familiar with NAVSEA organization and Systems Engineering process and practices, such as Design Reviews, Specification Reviews and In-Process Team (IPT) process's. 8. Understand Configuration Management Process, to include preparation, review and presentation of Ship Change Documents (SCDs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for submission into the SHIPMAIN Process. 9. Familiar with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Processes. 10. Understand and familiar with Security Classification Guidelines. REQUIRED1. DoD Program Office Experience 2. BS Degree 3. At least 4 years related experience, with 6 years preferred, on large DoD Acquisition 4. Excellent communication skills; both orally and written 5. Direct customer interface experience 6. Proficient in Microsoft Office environment.DESIRED1. Combat System experience 2. BS Degree in Engineering, Physics or Math 3. Direct Navy customer interface experience 4. Familiar with Navy organizations and practices.
