NYC: Training Business Analyst - Team Lead (NN:23) NYC: Training Business Analyst - Team Lead (NN:23) POSITION DESCRIPTION: The successful senior business analyst/training team lead joins a long term initiative to upgrade the client’s current financial management system. This multi-million project will be implemented in multiple phases. The successful candidate will hold the position of co-team lead of the project training team. This role entails continuous interaction with the client training lead and his staff. Responsibilities will include project planning, coordinating, status reporting, and risk mitigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the plan with his/her counterpart, the counterpart’s staff as well as any CGI personnel that joins the team. Constant communication and follow-up will be required. In addition, the CGI training lead will be the primary liaison between the client training team and other CGI teams, such as the functional team, testing, security and workflow, configuration management, etc. The successful candidate will relay critical information from these CGI teams to client training personnel. This will require a general understanding of the software functionality. Detailed documentation review of training materials and associated deliverables will also be required. In addition to client-facing work, the CGI training lead will be responsible for coordinating CGI training initiatives with other team leads, the CGI PMO, and the Advantage service line training team. The candidate must show initiative and the ability to successfully follow up and resolve issues; a persistent and insistent personality is desired. The analyst must have proven writing skills and possess the ability and desire to work in a fast paced environment. ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREDThe candidate should have up to 4-6 years experience providing analytical support, managing a small team and project schedule, strong interpersonal communication and multitasking skills with the following very essential skills required. - Solid management, leadership, communication and coordination skills- Strong analytical skills- Strong writing/editing skills- Strong advocacy skills- Attention to detail and organized- Ability to work in team as well as independently- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment We can train the candidate in many of the aspects of the job; but self-motivation, leadership, intelligence, and curiosity are key qualities.
