Manager, FP&A, Kidde North America

As a key leader on the Business Finance Team, this person will be responsible for the business planning, financial analysis and reporting of results for Kidde North America, a $_340M manufacturer of special hazard fire protection systems. This person will liaise between the business unit and corporate and will work predominantly with finance and business leaders within the business. The FP&A Manager also interacts with all corporate functions regularly with emphasis on Corporate FP&A, Reporting, and Accounting. '7Lead monthly rolling forecast, quarterly review and annual budgeting processes '7Analyze, interpret, and communicate relevant financial and business trends providing sound recommendations to senior management to drive business performance, including the identification of potential risks and opportunities. '7Provide variance analysis against forecast and other corporate guidance '7Collect and communicate results gross margin targets, productivity, inflation and pricing work. '7Analyze performance trends to help build forecasts and provide target guidance. '7Work with Commercial, Operations and Functional teams within the business to report monthly and quarterly results. '7Complete monthly and quarterly review packages that summarize previous quarter results and next quarter outlook. '7Develop processes to report results to Regional Headquarters in an accurate and timely manner. '7Translate and communicate plan and forecast requirements set at the Regional level to to the local business unit level. '7Work with business teams and corporate functions to drive process improvements and improve financial results and forecast/actual consolidation efficiency. '7Support and guide functional leadership in achievement of business performance, while balancing local support and direction with requirements of Regional Headquarters. '7Lead special projects and cross-functional teams on critical objective and initiatives. '7Supervise FP&A team to execute various analyses and reporting. '7Responsible for talent acquisition and development of staff to achieve higher levels of competency. '7Additional duties and responsibilities as required. '7B.S. in Accounting or Finance with strong analytical skills (MBA a plus). '710+ years of finance experience with 3+ years in a manufacturing environment. '7Expertise in the following areas would be ideal: financial modeling, forecasting, budget, standard costing, management reporting, product line analysis, performance measurement, and strategic planning. '7Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work across all function and generate solutions/recommendations to issues before topic is presented to management. '7Proven leadership skill, ability to drive change. Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and mentor a team of professionals. '7Track record of results. '7Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication. '7Ability to effectively prioritize and manage projects to deadlines.
