Logistics Engineer

Position Summary

Manage the preparation of innovative, timely, professional solutions for consumer products industry clients’ supply chain challenges. Lead change using a process oriented, data driven, and customer focused approach.

Relevant Knowledge & Work Experience

§ Five or more years experience in supply chain management, decision support systems/technology, or transportation management

§ Strong project management skills

§ Experience with analytical problem solving

§ Experience with logistics decision support and computer modeling software

§ Ingenuity and creativity to create new supply chain solutions

§ Experience with quality and process management tools

§ Ability to lead process improvement teams

§ Experience developing and managing strong, trusting customer relationships

§ Excellent oral/written communication skills, experience preparing and presenting oral/written presentations

Educational Background & Associated Professional Certifications

§ B.S. / B.A. Bachelors degree in a technical field required.  Masters degree preferred

§ Certifications or relevant experience in Quality Management, Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management preferred
