Lab Technician

This is an excellent opportunity to join our staff in a role that will provide strategic direction for ATK Tactical Propulsion and Controls locations. Alliant Techsystems, Tactical Propulsion and Controls Division, with an office located in Elkton, MD is currently seeking an Lab Technician that will perform routine analysis on chemical raw material, including Karl Fisher moisture determination. Responsibilities for this position include: - Perform analysis on acid/base titrations, melting point determination, viscosity and other in-process test. - Perform routine physical and mechanical testing on the instrument and raw material sampling. Requirements for this position include: - Associates Degree in Chemistry or higher is required for this position; Bachelors degree is preferred but not required - 5 years or more of analytical and lab experience. - Ability to lift 50 pounds. - Ability to multi-task. - Analytical laboratory experience - US Security clearance is required or eligibility to attain a clearance - US Citizenship is required With $4.5 billion in annual sales, approximately 17,000 employees, and operations in 21 states, ATK is a company on the move!
