LIBRARY BUILDING CONSULTANT/SMALL LIBRARY SPECIALIST
LIBRARY BUILDING CONSULTANT/ SMALL LIBRARY SPECIALIST Â for the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. Â Provides library building consulting and technical assistance to smaller public libraries throughout MA.Â
DUTIES  Work with library staff, trustees, building committees, and local government officials. Assist libraries during the bidding and construction phases. Monitor all phases of construction projects.
QUALIFICATIONS  4 years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional experience. ALA MLS preferred. Administrative experience including direct experience with a library building project, physical design and layout of libraries, development of library building programs, and general library planning preferred. Massachusetts Class D motor vehicle operator’s license required.
SALARY RANGE $50,041.94 TO 68,012.62 annually.
