JOB OPENING Junior-Level Java/J3EE Developer: JR 233113Location: Honolulu, HIJob Type: Full time, Salaried Must currently have a TS/SCI clearance SAIC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V Description:Senior-Level Software Engineer: This position will configure DD Lab development environments for use by DoDIIS Engineers for the purpose of software development and integration. This person will also work with DD Lab Administrators to ensure configuration and accessibility of DD Lab resources enables users to perform software development, integration and testing as directed by DoDIIS Leadership. Familiarity with machine virtualization is desired. This position will support or perform various IT evaluations, integration & development efforts undertaken in the Pacific RSC’s DD Lab. Position will provide support to other developers working in the lab to facilitate the use of lab resources by other DoDIIS users and ensure compliance with Lab policy. This Engineer will have to be familiar with aspects of software development such as code management, development environment configuration management and the use of software development tools such as code revision management tools (i.e. CVS or SourceForge), IDEs and editors and compilers. This position will also involve the testing, evaluation and reporting of various COTs, GOT5 or integrated IT solutions so good formal writing skills will be necessary. This Engineer will also need to support more junior developers in their development of Java and J2EE based integration and development efforts.
