JCAHO Coordinator

 

Serves as the hospital’s resident expert on the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) Programs /Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Must possess a current and valid license as a professional nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.  Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), Healthcare Administration, or other healthcare related field. Also four years experience in J.C.A.H.O. survey preparation and planning including well developed knowledge of standards. Experience working with individuals and teams, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to compile statistics and maintain accurate records. This is a twenty hour five day a week position with prorated benefits.  The successful candidate must be willing to flex hours to meet the needs of the hospital.
