Interactive Multimedia Instructional Designer

Multimedia Development Project Director- Looking for an experienced manager of multimedia development projects.  This individual will manage up to 12 people developing multiple learning programs.  These learning programs will exploit advanced instructional and computer  technologies to train military and civilian professionals.  The subject matter of these programs will be in the areas of alcohol and drug abuse prevention, human resources, and referral services for troubled individuals. 

Applicants should have at least 7 years experience in managing complex, multimedia programs.  Manage instructional designers, content editors, web developers and subject matter experts to translate client needs into interactive multimedia training programs. Present and demonstrate learning products and technology capabilities in client briefings. A MA in instructional design or development or its equivalent is required.  Military experience not required but would serve as an advantage in the program.






Multimedia Developer- Looking for an artistic and technically skilled multimedia developer with an interest in designing and developing interactive multimedia training programs. Successful candidates will be expected to:  Serve as a multimedia designer and developer, for a myriad of creative projects to support web-based learning requirements. Collaborate with instructional designers, content editors, web developers and subject matter experts to translate client needs into interactive multimedia training programs. Present and demonstrate learning products and technology capabilities in client briefings.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated creative design and development expertise using Macromedia Flash. Web development and interface design expertise using Macromedia Dreamweaver. Graphics design experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is desirable.  Requires a Bachelors degree at a minimum..




Game Designer/Engineer - Looking for an artistic and technically skilled game developer with an interest in designing and developing serious games that meet requirements for military training programs. Successful candidates will be expected to:  design, develop, implement and test serious gaming elements as part of an overall instructional design team focused on developing content for substance abuse programs. Collaborate with instructional designers, web developers, and subject matter experts to translate client’s needs into interactive multimedia instruction.

Applicants should have at least 4 years experience in serious game design and development.  Present and demonstrate learning products and technology capabilities in client briefings. A BA or BS in computer science or equivalent is required.  Experience in instructional design highly desired. Military experience not required but would serve as an advantage in the program.




Senior Instructional Systems Designer - Looking for a Senior Designer who will implement and follow a systematic design process for effective and efficient learning.  Using an instructional design model as a guide, will develop ISD methods, procedures and processes for use on programs and ensures program team applies consistently and accurately. Will lead selection of instructional media, materials, and equipment to meet learning objectives and will lead design, development, implementation of courseware for computer based, web based and distributed learning presentations.  Will conduct analyses to identify and validate training requirements and documents results of analyses and will recommend alternative training strategies.

Applicants should have at least 6 years experience in designing instruction.  A bachelor’s degree is a must; a master degree is preferred.  The successful candidate will be able to document previous instructional design projects upon which he or she has made a major contribution.
