Please visit http://www.stanleyassociates.com for more information. Operator/Instructor (JFETS) operates Joint Fires and Effect Training System (JFETS) that train military students in Fire Support operations in virtual environments.  JFETS modules include the Urban Terrain Module (UTM), the Open Terrain Module (OTM), the Close Air Support Module (CASM), and a Fires Cell.  Specific Duties:• Additionally, instructs and evaluates students in joint fire support doctrine and tactics, techniques and procedures in a joint training environment.  • Evaluates and monitors individual student performance.  • Uses audiovisual aids and other materials to supplement training.  • Familiar with standard training concepts to include:  tasks, conditions and standards.  • Develops training products in support of JFETS.  • Works with military instructors by providing instructional assistance to students training in the JFETS facility.  • Conducts after action reviews with students in the Operational Briefing Area (OBA)/After Action Review (AAR) area.  • Works with a team to develop training scenarios and conduct sustainment training on state-of-the-art computer training and tactical systems.  • Must be capable of operating a multi-station video control room where student activities are monitored and recorded. High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of at least 5 year directly related work experience as a Fire Support Subject Matter Expert and or CAS Experience are required.Additional Requirements:• Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment. • Possession of an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; US Citizenship is required. • Should have Operation Iraqi Freedom or Afghanistan fire support experience, either in-country or in direct support.  • Must have had experience in a fire support leadership position. • Must have a good working knowledge of computer hardware and software training requirements. • Strong communication and self-motivation skills are essential. • Must have a strong background in fire support and observed fire procedures.  • Must be capable of obtaining instructor certification. Preferred Skills:• In-country experience desired. • Prior experience as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) is highly desired. • Previous training and knowledge on the Joint Fires and Effects Trainer System (JFETS), Training Set Fire observation (TSFO) or the Guard FIST II is desired. • Experience calling for and controlling Close Air Support (CAS) is desired. • TRADOC Instructor Training Certification.
