Instructional Design & Development Specialist
STG International, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Design and Development Specialist to join our team on a Federal contract at the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC) in Washington, DC.
ResponsibilitiesProvide instructional and design support services for web-based training courses. Ensure that all web-based course lessons can execute on the Judiciary's CourtsLearn which uses 'Blackboard' applications. Transfer paper based (PowerPoint) content from SMEs and convert it into interactive web-based training utilizing AOUSC's templates and standards.
Required Skills
The successful incumbent must have three (3) years of experience in utilizing the following tools: Lectora, Captivate, LMS, Camtasia, and OnDemand Personal Navigator. Master's of Instructional Design, Adult Education, Adult Learning Theory, Distance Learning or five (5) years hands on experience plus a Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
Required ExperienceCandidates must have experience in applying adult learning theory principles and be able to convert PowerPoint into effective learning tools, including creative ways to deliver soft skill content, the use of mnemonics and graphics instead of text and the application of audio. Experience deploying Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) content or Learning Management Systems, or equivalent.
