The primary responsibility will be to successfully sell Honeywell building automation products and services to the new construction/renovation markets as well as to targeted commercial accounts (pharmaceutical, school, hospitals, office buildings, industrial facilities). You will be responsible for developing and executing a business plan and meeting performance and financial objectives. This position requires skills of an aggressive, hard-working, sales professional who is conceptual, creative and enjoys a fast paced sales environment. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are critical to your success. Experience in cold calling, developing new business and implementing sales strategies is a must.

As an Installed Systems Account Rep you will be responsible for:
• understanding customer objectives and developing appropriate solutions.
• developing a strategy for technical and specification superiority to successfully win competitive bid projects
• the attainment of key local financial goals through the achievement of an annual sales plan
• the achievement of customer satisfaction by establishing and maintaining long-term trust relationships with assigned accounts
• calling on contractors and consultants to increase Honeywell’s profile in the local market
Basic Qualifications:
• degree or equivalent technical or management experiences required
• sales experience (3+ in HVAC, security, fire or DDC)
Additional Qualifications:
• application experience with building automation systems is preferred but not required
• ability to develop and execute prospecting and account plans
• lead and account generation capabilities
• decision making and problem solving skills
• customer service & interface skills
• computer software skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• analytical & problem solving skills
• outside sales experience, preferably selling a technical solution or service
• working with contractors a plus
• a proficient working knowledge in implementing the selling cycle from identifying and qualifying prospects to successfully closing the sale
• developing relationships at senior levels of management
• sales experience focused on creating value through improved business outcomes
