(TSTZ9 Customer Site Huntsville, AL) Information Assurance (IA)/Computer Security Analyst to support to the Missile Defense Agency and the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Joint Program Office. Candidate will support GMD mission Information Assurance Manager/Officer (IAM/IAO) activities. - BS in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent work experience is required. - CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification is required. - Active security clearance required. Ability to obtain higher level clearance if needed. Candidate must have experience working Information Assurance Program Management including: - IA Policy - DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) - Security engineering using IA Enabled products such as CISCO and UNIX, IA operations including Incident Response and Information Assurance Training. - Risk Management - System Life-Cycle - Process development Candidate must possess the following skills: - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work with other government agencies and government counterparts is critical. - Possess a strong background in Information Assurance Program Management. - Knowledge of DoD IA Technical Framework and security design using IA enabled products such as CISCO and UNIX. - Understanding and knowledge of implementing DoDD 8500.2 and DIACAP across an organization with diverse IT systems. - Knowledge and experience with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) evaluation on varied IT systems and develop risk management strategies. - Possess ability to write Information Assurance policies, procedures, memorandums, and other official documents. - Possess the ability to multi-task in a rapid pace environment. - Demonstrate the ability to work with personnel of varying technical backgrounds and to interact with multiple levels of management. - Possess excellent organizational, oral, written and briefing communication skills, and computer skills. - Demonstrate the ability to brief high-level managers so they can easily understand highly technical concepts. - Demonstrate the ability to work independently; be able to understand and anticipate requirements and the needs for and to the government. - Be a self-starter with the ability to research, coordinate and take positive action in support of the IAM mission. - Be capable of following procedures to execute IA tools (nessus, nmap, shell scripts, etc), to conduct on-site IA testing. - Ability to travel- Technical Certifications desired.
