The selected applicant for this position will provide technical assistance to database systems users in order to correct data or processes. The selected applicant must demonstrate the ability to understand complex database structures and Transact SQL, possess strong skills and knowledge in the areas of databases, web-applications, and network configurations, and have the customer relations skills necessary to provide technical assistance, training and system documentation for users to promote efficient operation of database systems. It is recommended that the selected applicant have significant experience using SQL Server 2000, Microsoft Office, FrontPage, Active Directory, IIS, and SharePoint. This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas. Must have: Experience with Transact SQL Excellent customer relation skills Willingness to work in St. Mary's County Preferences: Significant experience using SQL Server 2000, Microsoft Office, FrontPage, Active Directory, IIS, and SharePoint.
