Due to our continued growth, and recent contract extension we currently have an immediate need for (2) HR Process Specialists in Alexandria, VA supporting the DHS-NPPD Project. SUMMARY Manually code Standard Form (SF-52) Requests for Personnel Actions, for both completive and noncompetitive personnel actions. Track and report recruitment and noncompetitive actions in an access database to generate a variety of reports, update tracking records, and search data for specialized/unique requests. Work informs contract monitoring, work measurement and recruitment activity planning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Provides technical review and quality assurance for the Standard Form 52.
· Develop Recruitment Tally reports weekly to show number of Actions received, vacancy announcements drafted and uploaded, certifications sent, and actions processed. Data is used by Program Manager.
· Prepare weekly Metric report elements concerning completed noncompetitive actions and DHS inquiries
· Develop specialized or unique analyses or reports on recruitment data for Program Management.
· Prepare monthly Completed Action Reports to provide to DHS Officials and maintain historical work records
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - BS/ BA degree in Business or HR Management or equivalent experience. Requires 2 years of human resource management, Personnel Actions Processing for the Federal Government as a Employee or as a contractor. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under minimal supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Experience with working with rules and regulations of federal govt. preferred.
