Fort Meade Environmental Project Manager/Specialist
Environmental firm seeking an Environmental Project Manager
for the Fort Meade military installation located in Maryland. Position requires technical review and comment on CERCLA/RCRA investigation, remediation, and closure reports generated by contractors, oversight of remediation activities on the installation to ensure regulatory compliance, and coordination of remediation activities among the installation and regulatory agencies (federal and state). Assist the installation with monitoring the technical progress and financial status of each restoration project to include preparation of cost estimates. BS in Environmental Science or related field preferred and/or 4 years of demonstrated experience in environmental cleanup to include comprehensive working knowledge of CERCLA/RCRA. Prior experience on a military installation and range cleanup experience also desired. Must have strong oral and written communication and negotiation skills.
