BAE Systems is actively recruiting for the next class of our Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP). The mission of the Financial Leadership Development Program is to cultivate professionals within the Finance and Accounting organization who are 'action oriented' and will lead effective change and promote innovation within BAE Systems. The significant commitment we make to program participants in mentoring, rotational assignments, and graduate school tuition pays great dividends for both participants and the company. The FLDP is an exciting and challenging three-year development program for talented, 'high-performing' individuals. It consists of three, one-year rotations, each with increasing responsibility. It is designed to attract and retain highly motivated people who want to become the future leaders of the company. The first rotation will be located at a BAE Systems site within the Washington DC metro area. Future rotations will be either within the Washington DC metro or at one of the other BAE System sites in the contiguous U.S. Rotations will be within finance and accounting functions such as: Program Control, Financial Planning and Analysis, General Accounting, Internal Controls, Contracts, and various Corporate Assignments. Participants are required to complete an MBA on a part-time basis. BAE Systems pays up to 100 percent for graduate school tuition, books, and application fees. Members of the program also complete in-house training that focuses on accounting, program finance, and government contracting at BAE Systems. 1. Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university (Business-related discipline preferred). 2. At least a 3.0/4.0 GPA. 3. Possess leadership potential that has been demonstrated in academic or extra-curricular activities, or during employment. 4. Willing to work at various sites throughout the DC metro area. 5. Ability to relocate. 6. Superior communication skills. 7. Achievement in non-academic pursuits such as clubs and organizations, special projects, military service, and prior work experience. 8. Capacity and motivation for hard work. 9. U.S. Citizenship. 10.Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the U.S. Department of Defense.
