Candidate will work with a team to provide a wide range of financial management expertise to multi-billion dollar Navy programs in the following areas: Budget Development; Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE); and Acquisition Reporting to Congress, DoD and DoN. The acquisition reporting includes the Selected Acquisition Report (SAR), Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), DASHBOARD and DAMIR. The candidate will take a significant role in the development of SCN budgets, and preparation of budget exhibits in support of the SCN Execution Review, FMB, OSD, and Congressional budget submissions. Excellent written communication skills are required, as the team supports clients by preparing clear impact statements, point papers and briefings to defend and justify program budgets. Candidate will interact frequently with high level Navy and civilian personnel, and must have outstanding verbal communications skills. Must be able to work effectively with short turnaround job tasking and time constraints as this is a highly dynamic work environment. Excellent Microsoft Office skills required. NAVSEA experience is desired. This position requires a Secret Clearance and the candidate must be able to obtain an interim clearance within 60 days. Candidate must be able to travel to and from the Navy facility several times a day.
