The Travis County Auditor’s Office serves as the chief financial office for Travis County govt, a $500 million organization w/approx 5,000 employees.  We are committed to hiring and retaining the best financial professionals and are currently seeking senior level financial analysts/auditors.  We are looking for candidates with a variety of experiences in multiple disciplines incl. general accounting, audit, financial analysis & financial reporting.

 

Qualifications:

·    BS/BA in Accting + 6 yrs exper; prof. certification

·    Working knowledge of GAAP, GAGAS, risk assessment, etc.

·    Ability to plan/coordinate multiple projects while meeting deadlines

·    Excellent skills set incl. analysis, communication, computer, time mgmt & problem solving

·    Characteristics such as team player, self-starter & quick learner

·    Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.– sorry, no visa sponsorships

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary commensurate w/exper.  We also offer a stable work environment; individual offices; quality computers & equip; no routine overnight travel; casual dress attire; flexible start of work day; job rotation; prof. dev.; 11 paid holidays & accrue up to 3 weeks vacation per yr; employer paid and/or subsidized health, vision & life ins.; retirement plan.
