Serves as the Site Manager for a 102,000 square foot facility located in Sterling, VA. All support functions (Facility Staff, Enterprise IT, and Site Security) are matrixed to the site manager for on-site coordination of activities, de-confliction of priorities to ensure quality of life and support for smooth business operations. Responsible for the overall operation of the building. Supervises the facilities staff and coordinates the effort of the on-site security and IT staff to ensure quality support to BAE-IT functions and customer programs. Responsible for maintaining the appropriated budget. Oversees all service and support contracts such as custodial, HVAC maintenance, mechanical and electrical maintenance, generator and UPS maintenance. Establishes and enforces facility operation policies and procedures in direct coordination with security and IT staff and tenant organization leaders while complying to all Corporate policies. Primary liaison with the owners representatives in matters relating to planning and execution of alterations/ improvements, building system maintenance and owner-provided services. Maintains current status of space assignment and plans utilization of space and facilities. Acts as primary contact/lead for all facilities project activities and leads project reviews of cost, schedule and technical performance. Acts as primary liaison for buildings Continuity of Operations planning and exercises. Required Understand and able to expertly provide exceptional customer service to building tenants while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility. Provide leadership to others and manage customer (tenant) expectations. Incumbent must be able to provide consistent guidance to both staff and tenants and reassess priorities to meet the challenges/problems as they develop. Strong communicator with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required. Integrity, professional ethics and self starter are highly preferred personal traits. Understanding of building systems and building operations would be extremely beneficial but not required. Desired Past experience working in a Secure environment is desired.
