FINANCIAL ANALYST & BUYER
Financial Analyst
Summary:Provide administrative services to various branches within the Research and Technology Directorate (RTD); supporting offices located in various locations across the Center. Develop work requests procedures for review and approval by the Government, and follow established procedures when accepting work.
Responsibilities:
Msintain all organizational budgets (travel, award, overhead, and/or programmatic) and monitor theft implementation. Spreadsheets will be established and used to track expenditures. Assemble, prepare, edit and submit a variety of written material such as correspondence, agendas, presentations, charts and forms. Submit technical publication, presentation records through the current on line Technical Publication Submittal and Approval System. Prepare and submit weekly key activities to management. Prepare and submit Purchase Requisistions into current financial system. Provide information about the branch offices’ functions and standard operating procedures to visitors and telephone callers and direct technical questions and inquiries to appropriate staff Prepare reports as requested.
Requirements:
Experience with various production applications as relates to budget, and travel accounting.

Summary:Procurement support to acquire supplies and services up to $50,000 consistent with the regulatory requirements set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulations. These procurements will include purchases against GSA schedules, the NASA Scientific & Engineering Workstation Procurement (SEWP) contracts (administered by Goddard Space Flight Center). and open market purchases. Responsibilities:• Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates, and renegotiates contacts.• Formulates and coordinates procurement proposals.• Evaluates or monitors contract peiformance to determine necessity for amendments/modifications or extensions, and compliance to contractual obligations• Recommends approval or rejection for requests fbr deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules.• Evaluate quotes; provide analysis of price reasonableness when required; negotiation and award of purchase orders.• Apply conventional practices and methods to make either competitive or sole source simplified acquisition awards and/or awards against established contracts and agreements.
