F/A 18 Avionics Engineering/Logistics Liaison Officer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions and is listed in random order.  Provide liaison services between DND and the United States Armed Forces by:

      Developing and maintaining excellent rapport with key personnel

·        Establishing groundwork for successful Program/ United States Navy (USN) technical working relationships

§       Provide engineering and logistic inputs to DAEPM(FT)3 and DAEPM(FT)4 on FMS cases

§         Assure proposed FMS case language meets engineering and logistics requirements

§         Provide accurate and insightful advice on Security Assistance and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) requirements, ECP assessments, and release of classified information

§         Manage FMS logistic requirements for DAEPM (FT) 3 and assist with DAEPM (FT) 4 programs for support equipment and airborne avionics and weapons systems, including, but not limited to: cost analysis, scheduling, budgeting, planning, deliverables, configuration management and quality assurance

 

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Education Requirements Background knowledge of F/A 18 preferred Knowledge of airborne avionics and weapon systems Provide engineering and logistics support Excellent communication skills Positive work ethic Well developed interpersonal and communication skills Self Motivated Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering or a related field is required Candidate should posses at least three (3) years of experience in:     a. Program Management for the engineering requirements related to aircraft weapons systems and airborne weapons system analysis b. Management of financial and administrative activities for aircraft or airborne weapons c. Experience in Systems Engineering Candidate should posses or be able to get a Secret Security Clearance
