Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain current awareness and mastery of federal regulatory requirements in the areas of U.S. exports and documentation, including Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations (OFAC), etc.
- Ensure export licenses in accordance with ITAR/EAR or other applications for export approval are professionally prepared, accurate and properly coordinated within the organization and counsel.
- Perform regulatory analysis to help determine proper jurisdiction and appropriate classification of hardware, software and data.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with export controls.
- Generate support materials for training initiatives on the full spectrum of export compliance issues.
Necessary Background
The successful candidate will have:
- a minimum of three years of export controls experience.
- demonstrated experience working in a self-directed, high energy, Federal Government client site environment.
Education
BS/BA degree in related field with exceptional academic performance.
Security Clearance
Must possess a USG security clearance.
