EmergingTechnologies Support Manager

DSD Laboratories is seeking an Emergingy Technologies Support Manager to work in Bedford MA. 

The ideal individual will provide programmatic expertise, guidance, issue resolution, scheduling, integration, and funding estimate support to the 350 ELSG Future Technology Transition Branch.  Additionally, the contractor will support the Government in identification, vectoring, and transitioning emerging C2 technologies into the 350 ELSG portfolio, or a 350 ELSG program of record.  Contractor shall directly support evaluation of, and planning for the development, testing, fielding, and sustainment of these technologies.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This person shall provide management support to the Future Technologies Branch Chief for the transition, maturation, accreditation, integration, and sustainment of emerging Command & Control technologies.  Duties will involve collection, assessment, and maturation of programmatic and financial data from sources such as the Air Force Research Laboratory, among others, to assist in the construction of Life-Cycle Acquisition Strategies and transition plans.

 

The ideal candidate will be required to study existing programmatic and financial processes, programs, and documents with the intent to determine requirements compatibility and to identify a transition path forward.  The contractor will work with warfighter customer offices (i.e. ACC, GCIC) to ensure plans for future technologies are fully synchronized with warfighter needs/plans, documented Acquisition documents, and user forums.  Contractor will play pivotal role in recurring Advanced Technology Council forums with ACC, AFRL, DARPA, and other technology providers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters highly preferred.

12 years minimum of general DoD program/project financial experience

4 years minimum of Air Force, DoD, or Government acquisition experience.

Capable of working independently and with minimal supervision, supporting numerous projects/programs simultaneously

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with financial estimations on Command & Control programs
