We are seeking a Director ofour Pest@Rest business venture. Pest@Rest is our Integrated Pest Management business and trainingprogram that operates throughout New York City.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Manage and evaluate all staff of Pest@Rest and ensure that all employees are fulfilling their responsibilities in an accurate and professional manner. Create an organizational structure that gives employees a sense of their role and responsibility within the organization. Responsible for expanding revenue of Pest@Rest by exploring new areas for increasing business and revenue, including applying for city contracts. Ensure Pest@Rest remains in compliance with all DEC regulations Assist Business Manager in development of monthly routes. Oversee the budget to make sure we are reaching all revenue goals and staying within spending limits. Maintain and distribute monthly revenue reports and the Dashboard to relevant parties. Recommend salary increases for individuals who have performed well throughout the year. Work with Training Coordinator and Director of Education to ensure Pest@Rest training program is running smoothly and meeting goals and expectations. Establish and maintain relationships with other pest control companies so they can hire the graduates of our training program. Represent Pest@Rest within The Doe Fund – with Program Directors, at meetings, and addressing issues as they arise. Manage quantity and use of pesticides by technicians.Â

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
·     Bachelor’sdegree in required
·     Consistentperformance history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
·     Proficiencyin Microsoft Applications.
·     Strongverbal communication and presentation skills
·     Excellentorganizational skills
·     Superbmanagement skills
·     Abilityto work independently without requiring micro-management
·     Knowledgeof government rules and regulations in pest control
·     Extensivetraining experience, preferably in pest control
·     Interestin and knowledge of integrated pest management and green pest control
·     NYSDECPesticide Applicators Certification, additional licenses and certifications aplus
·     Mustbe able to make sound decisions based on experience and judgment
·     Abilityto build effective relationships with staff throughout The Doe Fund andcustomers
·     Expertisein negotiation techniques and closing sales
