Operations lead on the Civilian Solutions Business Winning Team. Reports to the VP&GM of CS. Directly leads Operations participation in business winning activities. Coordinates an interdisciplinary team including members from Operations, Business Development, Capture and CTO. Also coordinates the BWTs interactions with other functions such as Contracts, Sub-Contracts, Pricing, Finance, EIT and Performance Excellence. Charter is to lead the interdisciplinary BWT in a consistent, repeatable process that enables gaining experience, visibility & comfort across the end to end life cycle of business winning. Personally leads the Operations contribution to business winning that includes, but is not limited to, developing competitive solutions and proposals, supporting opportunity identification and qualification, supporting capture execution, supporting business winning phase reviews. Provide Program Management level leadership on specific bids, including ability to organize and manage a program, develop a program management plan and other management materials, and potentially be bid as a PM on large programs. Build effective, win-focused teams for each CS bid that include both internal BAE Systems organizations and external firms and go beyond simply meeting customer requirements to offering discriminating capabilities to the customer. The successful candidate will have strong insights and experience in our industrys competitive arena. He/she will maintain strong PM contact and relationships across the CS line organization to facilitate the full engagement of Operations in the business winning process. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to advance the business, the ability to operate in a complex matrix organization and advanced intellectual, commercial and interpersonal skills. Background must include Program Management, but may also include other business winning disciplines.
