Controller - Non Profit Foundation

Bay Area located foundation, with an endowment of over 500 million dollars seeks a Controller to support the CFO, and manage the Accounting department. The primary responsibilities include managing the general ledger, and all accounting functions, while driving the monthly close, and quarterly reporting.  They seek a candidate that can leverage their experience to identify and remedy improvements to efficiency, accuracy, and staff development. This manager will participate in a variety of special projects, and collaborate with all functional areas.

Expected qualifications include a BA/BS together with a CPA or MBA, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Non Profit and/or health care industry experience is preferred but not required. Clear communications, professional integrity, and BOD level presentation skills are a must.
