The Electronic Warfare Line of Business concentrates on integrated avionics requirements for military tactical aircraft. Electronic Warfare provides the electronic countermeasures suite for the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor aircraft and is the lead electronic warfare system integrator for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Its Integrated Defensive Electronic Radio Frequency Countermeasures (IDECM) system protects U.S. Navy F/A-18E/F aircraft against radar-guided missiles. Its Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasures (ATIRCM) is the next-generation, directable, laser and lamp-based countermeasure that protects aircraft against heat-seeking missile threats - and the advanced sensors in the ATIRCM's counterpart Common Missile Warning system (CMWS) provide missile warning capabilities. Candidate will be assigned to a Butterfly Program O'CONUS/foreign location and travel to various sites in support of customer requirements. Successful candidate must possess comprehensive Organizational and Intermediate EW or RF electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and fault isolation abilities and skills. Perform engineering tasks associated with Butterfly EW and ALQ-221 mission support requirements, functional analysis of EW system interface and on-board systems communications utilizing VME/1553/BIT technology. Knowledge of aircraft electrical generation and distribution systems is also required. Must be able to read/understand aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics and Technical Publications. Must possess common Avionics Test Equipment experience associated with component repair and systems troubleshooting. Field Engineer Position requires extensive world wide travel in support of USAF Electronic Warfare (EW) platform. Active Secret Security Clearance and US Passport Required. RF, EW Experience and Knowledge Customer Focused-Team Oriented Active Secret Security Clearance Flexible Travel Schedule-CONUS/O'CONUS BSEE and Four years of applicable electronics experience; in lieu of BSEE degree- Eight years of applicable technical experience Current US Passport or qualified to obtain passport USAF Supply and Material processing experience USAF Technical Publication familiarization Familiar with current USAF IMDS/CAMS system People are the greatest asset in any Company ...
