NC DEPARTMENT OF STATE TREASURER Business and Technology Analyst - Contributory

The NC Dept of State Treasurer has implemented a new Retirement System – ORBIT – Online Retirement Benefits through Integrated Technology.  ORBIT System is a multi-tiered, browser-based system utilizing the Microsoft .NET framework.  There is currently an open position for a .NET developer on the ORBIT team.  This position requires experience in VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Web Services, SOA, SQL Server 2000 & 2005, Reporting Services, Windows Server 2003, Visual Studio.NET, and VSS.  

 

Preference is for the candidate to have a minimum of one year of development experience in the environment listed above.  A four year degree is required and the preference is a degree in Information Technology.  A combination of education and experience may substitute for this requirement.  Salary range is $39,816 to $53,791.
