Business Development Director

The Business Development Director will manage sales to DHS, DHHS, DoS, Ed, DOT, DOL, and other Federal agencies.

 

Responsibilities:

· Direct selling of professional services such as Facilities Management and Base Operation Support, Logistics, Program Management, Acquisition Support, and Administrative Services to Federal agencies in a rapidly growing company.

· The key objective will be centered on developing new client relationships, using strategic thinking skills to outline solutions, and managing the entire sales process.

· Manage and write proposals.

· Track ongoing sales activities, forecasting business opportunities, and developing new business relationships.

· Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.

· Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives.

 

Qualifications

· Have a passion to prospect, develop, and close sales.

· Knowledge of the culture and language of government contracting.

· Experience selling services in the Federal government and/or military markets.

· Rolodex of  Federal government contacts.

· Proven ability to exceed prior quota plans.

· Formal government proposal training preferred (e.g. Shipley or equivalent training).

· Bachelor’s degree in a business related field.

· 10+ years of experience selling in the field or in a related area.

· Willingness and ability to travel 25%

· A verifiable win record leading to the capture of business opportunities valued at $20-$200 Million.

 

**Compensation dependent upon experience. Opportunity to earn six figures within one year with no cap on earnings.
