Develop annual operating budgets for sales and expense lines and approve complete operating budget, monitoring performance to achieve budgeted results.Conduct weekly sales and operations meetings to understand business performance and help resolve issues.Conduct performance evaluations for all department supervisors and key personnel as scheduled.Responsible for coordinating branch employee's issues/concerns and contact necessary employees to resolve these issues/concerns.Responsible for analyzing market pricing and determining a fair and reasonable selling price that is competitive and ensures branch profitability.Responsible for professional, effective management of the branch customer base needs that requires independent decision making to effectively resolve account inquiries.Responsible for effectively managing control of company inventory and ensuring that the inventory is properly reconciled to branch scheduling and sales.Drive integration and culture change across the businesses that will result in high employee productivity, team building and singular focus to deliver results.Drive the implementation of standard process and best practices.Provide the necessary leadership to promote change throughout the organization and develop and lead a world class organization. Inherent in this process is the personal development, training and overall commitment to his/her workforce that is aligned with UTC's beliefs and behaviors.Recruit high performing individuals across the division at all levels of the organization. Develop creative, innovative and cost effective strategies to recruit high potential talent. In all areas of responsibility, the branch manager is responsible for providing full compliance with the UTC Policy Statement on Contracting with the United States Government and the UTC Code of Ethics.Responsible for the performance of other tasks related to this position as management assigns them. A bachelors degree is required in Business, Engineering or other related field is required. An MBA or Masters degree in Business or Engineering is highly preferred.We would prefer experience with a large, premier, service entityExperience with employee relations, employee and leadership development. Must be willing to travel 10% as or as required.Must demonstrate ability to work across different product lines and in a matrixed organizationMust demonstrate ability to work and influence peers and upper management. Expertise with, Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications. This individual must be open to relocation in the future to take on further roles of responsibility.Someone who is comfortable making difficult choices with the conviction and confidence necessary to stand by such decisions.Technically competent; strategically and analytically minded with a detailed approach to operating in an engineering function worldwide, and capable of instilling the same attention to detail in his/her organizationAn excellent leader, able to select and develop talent and synergies. Highly professional with strong interpersonal skills; an articulate and highly effective communicator both written and verbal. This leader must be capable of developing a high degree of respect from a wide range of individuals.Must possess a positive attitude and professional image with impeccable business ethics.An aggressive, creative self-starter with a highly motivated approach.
