Provides Program Management, Acquisition and Planning support for current and future releases of a major software development program. Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain expert proficiency in rapidly changing military acquisition laws, regulations and policies relating to Software Productivity Reporting. Rapidly understand complex interactions and apply your knowledge to provide clear explanations and presentations to senior leaders. Work closely with remote personnel and other organizations to maintain relations and the schedule of complex tasks in a time sensitive environment.Provide Software analysis of developers Progress Cost, Scope, Risk for Government Program ManagementReview, Evaluate and compile MPEC development contractors Software Resources Data Report for OSD.Leads and coordinates acquisition planning working groups for the mission planning systemAble to act independently while coordinating within a teamDevelop policy, papers and presentations for senior customers and Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) personnel concerning Software productivity reporting. Required11+ Years with HS or 7+ Years with AA or 5+ Years with BS or 2+ Years with MS or 0+ Years with PhDMinimum of 7 years experience in DOD acquisition management disciplinesStrong Program/project management experience that involves budgetary, technical, and operational responsibilitiesStrong proficiency in Air Force/DOD acquisition/sustainment processes and regulationsClear, concise spoken and written communication skills.
