ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Support Ericsson Federal Inc (Government KAM) in defining services and solutions for customers along with associated sales support activities. Define and prioritize solutions within the Ericsson portfolio that include Ericsson and 3rd Party products and associated services for each product/solution area. Work with Ericsson Customer Teams (Core 4) to understand customer goals, interests, and technical requirements. Lead/participate in customer discovery, proposal and quotation process. Create business cases and go-to-market strategies for Government solutions. Develop and maintain customer relationships which provide opportunities for new business development. Work closely with Ericsson Federal CTO and Chief Architect in defining solutions for the Government market. Work closely with the BUGS Delivery organization to establish local delivery capabilities. SKILLS Subject matter expertise - IP, ATM, DWDM, GSM, WCDMA, LTE, Ethernet, Microwave, IMS, IPTV, Systems Integration, Network Deployment, and Network Management. Must have superior communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally. Must be a strategic thinker and very analytical. Team player with strong leadership skills. Self-driven, proactive disposition. Technical background with solid business acumen. Ability to facilitate meetings and drive discussions for multifunctional teams. COMPETENCE Minimum of 8+ years within a business development, consultative and/or technical function (e.g. Solutions Architect) related to telecom solutions, particularly in the wireless/wireline space. Advanced degree in a technical discipline preferred. MBA or equivalent experience highly desired. 10+ years experience within the telecommunication industry with at least half of this time spent in a related subject matter area. Experience in a competitor environment holding a technical sales support role is strong plus. Superior skills in setting and applying strategies to a business area and positioning a portfolio of products. Superior communicator and comfortable presenting to large audiences. Experience with external presentations and whiteboard sessions. Can lead solution sessions, facilitate and direct a large group of technical and non-technical people. Must have balance of technical vision with implementation know-how. Technical knowledge with the ability to grasp and apply complex applications/solutions. Business modeling and mapping to specific industries for positioning of Ericsson portfolio. Ability to understand dimensioning and pricing schemes used in this domain.
