Whey Technology Manager
Job Title: Whey Technology Manager (TT 216-08)
Reports To: Director of Whey Technologies
Location: Richfield, Idaho
Compensation: $62,000 to $75,000

About our Client: Our client is a multi-national multi-million dollar manufacturer and distributor of food products for the dairy industry. Our client’s products are either readily recognizable name brands or are used in readily recognizable name brands throughout the United States. This company is financially strong and consistently growing to strengthen its leadership position within the industry in which it participates.
Key Responsibilities:
The Whey Technology Manager will be responsible for providing technical support for the production of diary based products.
The successful candidate will work with all disciplines throughout the manufacturing facility to trouble shoot and solve production process issues and to develop and implement process improvement projects for the production of the products in which she/he is responsible.
The Whey Technology Manager will develop new specifications, costing and standard operating procedures for their products.
Job Requirements:
The Whey Technology Manager’s position requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering or ideally in Food/Dairy science.
The successful candidate will have between 2 and 4 years process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment and the ideal candidate will have this experience in food, dairy, and/or whey products.
The Whey Technology Manager must be able to lead problem solving teams and possess the ability to challenge current processes and theories so that continuous improvements may be made to products and processes.
