Territory Sales Representative
JOB SUMMARY:
Represent the Company’s portfolio of products to a customer base within an assigned territory and focus on the direct management of those accounts through selling, merchandising, and servicing those customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Service customers within an assigned route according to the Company’s service policy and delivery schedule.
· Manage the overall business performance of the assigned accounts to include sales and program participation.
· Responsible for accounts receivable for assigned customers and promote activity in the account.
· Identify and open new accounts across the territory through effective prospecting and market analysis.
· Introduce new products and packages to existing customers.
· Ensure the consistent execution and support from assigned customers on brand programming and priorities.
· Aggressively seek displays and shelf space.
· Consistently utilize point of sale and other tools to merchandise and promote activity in the account.
· Consistently maintain personal behavior that meets the core values and beliefs of the Company; integrity, professionalism, hard work, commitment, and team work.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:Responsible for generating and turning all orders into the office by the cut off time.
Responsible for meeting monthly sales objectives and priority activities.
Responsible for turning in mileage logs and other administrative tasks on a monthly basis.
Responsible for attending all Company Sales Meetings and related events.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Previous Sales experience.Effective self starter and initiatorComputer skills to include Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and organizational skills

MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:
Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, performing accounting work, using computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, talk, and hear.
Must be able to exert 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The job is rated for light work.
