Territory Manager- Star Valley

U.S. Foodservice is one of the largest broad line foodservice distributors in the United States, distributing food and related products to restaurants and institutional foodservice establishments across the entire country.  U.S. Foodservice markets and distributes more than 43,000 brand items to over 250,000 foodservice customers, including restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, cafeterias and schools, and employs more than 27,000 foodservice professionals. 

 

U.S. Foodservice is seeking a Territory Manager in the Star Valley, WY area.  Incumbent must live in the Star Valley area.  Territory Manager’s create, manage, and maintain outside sales routes, through self-initiated customer building activities.  They will be self–motivated, self-starting individuals. Strong organizational skills and follow through is a must!  Applicants should have two years of route sales experience and/or two years experience in the food service industry.  Some college is a plus, but not necessary based on prior work experience.  Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills required.  Strong computer skills necessary. 

 

Territory Manager’s are responsible for all sales of food service products for existing and new accounts.  Objectives are met by maintaining current business and actively pursuing and opening new accounts by providing customer service and product information.  This will require preparing strategies to capture new business, implementing strategies through sales presentations and continuous follow up in order to gain and maintain new business.  Will work with accounts and district management to develop and maintain contracts, and ensure that the terms of the contract are effectively maintained within the prescribed guidelines.
