'Provide project management for major capital expenditures which insures projects are on time and within budget and that the installed systems are fully functional, meeting all requirements'Manage capital appropriations and expenditure to meet guidelines'Provide technical input (e.g. layout drawings and capital estimates) to upper management regarding potential options for capital projects'To provide Project Management leadership on projects including the generation of project documents as well as utilizing commitment control documents, generating and maintaining timetables and key measurements, directing internal and external resources, etc'Develop strategies for automation, controls, and technology, which will reduce cost and improve quality of Heinz products'To interact with other staff engineers and outside resources as required, to create a cohesive, cross-functional team for the development and delivery of key projects. 'Areas of expertise should include; electronics, controls, instrumentation, data collections systems'Establishes standards and protocol for bid packages in order to deliver cost effective engineered solutions.'Manages resources and project expenditures up to $5,000,000. 'Insure compliance of all control systems with regulatory agencies including: FDA, AIB, OSHA, NEC, USDA, NFPA, BOCA, etc. Ability to understand and insure that all systems also comply with state and local codes and standards.'Directly manages project installations and retains ownership through start-up and project closure.'Provides training and technical services at the plant level.'Prepares updates, presentations, and other project documents for presentation to multiple levels of HNA management.'Position requires that the individual not only have a thorough understanding of current, accepted methods and solutions, but they also stay up to date on new technologies, etc. to deliver the most cost effective solutions to Heinz North America.'Develop plans and strategies to relocate products for cost improvement, support factory rationalizations, and product quality improvements. 'This position requires a minimum of a BS degree in Engineering (electrical or electronic preferred).'This senior position requires a minimum of (5) years of practical experience in controls, electronics, and instrumentation.'A proven track record of Project Management of multi-plant or corporate based projects is required.'A proficiency in standard Windows based programs is required. (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project)'Broad, in-depth experience in factory control systems, automation projects, and data collections systems, as well as project management skills, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance programs.
