Location:Saint Simons Island, GA 31522 Status:Full Time, Employee We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Process Developer in the R&D Department at Rich Products Corporation on St. Simons Island, GA. If you are interested in this position, please apply on-line at www.richs.com/careers KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Serve as project leader in the development and commercialization of new products. Plans, manages, and conducts complex product and process research projects. Works on multiple interdisciplinary projects, setting direction for how projects are carried out, plans timetables, identifies and organizes project team, coordinates other resources to achieve goals, implements plan and monitors progress.•Oversee all aspects of St. Simons Island based Process Engineering development. Provides process engineering support for all new product projects.•Research and gain thorough understanding and knowledge of state of the art and emerging technologies in product and process. Champion and lead the development and implementation of new product and process technologies to provide company with new product or new process creativity and solutions. •Collaborate with cross-functional team on implementing new equipment and processes into manufacturing facilities. Helps coordinate and provide support of new process into co-packer facilities.•Serves as expert (center of excellence) for the corporation to help educate the corporation on company’s current and future process capability/versatility and provide processing solutions.YOUR INGREDIENTS:•Minimum BS in Food Science or Engineering (Food or Chemical). •8+ years of process and product development. Some food experience with corporate engineering•4+ years as project manager, team leader, and/or group leader working with mid to senior level professional on technically complex projects•Ability to create process, equipment, and product solutions•Working knowledge of product and process development flow from conception to product launch•Ability to develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P & ID), cycle time studies, and pay-back calculations•Demonstrated skills in mathematical modeling, statistics, enginnering designing •Advance PC skills: Windows environment: word processing, CAD program, and spreadsheetIf you are interested in this position, please apply on-line at www.richs.com/careers We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and invite qualified candidates to apply.
