Senior Cellar WorkerDescription: Volt Services Group is currently seeking a Senior Cellar Worker to assist the Cellar Manager & Cellar Supervisor with supervision and training of lesser skilled cellar personnel in accordance with established cellar procedures. All Candidates will be able to Demonstrate a comprehensive and thorough knowledge of all work functions and practices performed in the cellar with no supervision, including but not limited to; cleaning & sanitization, pumpoverâ€™s, racking, transferring & blending. Chemical additions and fining agents, tank & barrel mixing and topping, barrel work, yeasting, shipping & receiving, scale operations, centrifuging, filtering, forklift & dump truck driving. Requirements: All qualified candidates will have a minimum 4 years winery experience and posses the following skills: â€¢ Will be able to prioritize, organize and multi task projects. â€¢ Will be able to document work, perform basic math skills and correctly complete written work requirements. â€¢ Ability to communicate effectively in English with good skills in reading and writing. â€¢ Will be able to problem solve and use initiative to adapt / change processes to improve operational performance. Physical Requirements: The wine cellar presents a challenging environment: cold, wet, slippery and often noisy.
