Security Analyst II
Reporting to the Data Security Administration Manager, the Security Analyst II under general direction gives guidance on all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent inappropriate access or destruction. Interfaces with the user community to understand their security needs and implements procedures to accommodate them. Ensure that users understand and adhere to policies and procedures to maintain security. Maintain familiarity with domain structure, user authentication and digital signatures, firewall theory and configuration. Conduct accurate evaluation of the level of security required. Must weigh business needs against security concerns and articulate issues to management. Establish the needs of users. Maintain and assist in the design of the information security environment. Develop and implement control processes. Develop and implement security policies. Provide training and awareness classes. Manage the security incident response process. Conduct information systems security risk assessments including security reviews and audits, and vulnerability assessments. Develop recommendations to management for mitigating information security risk. Actively promote awareness of security policies and practices and develop a security awareness and education program throughout Dean Foods Company. Provide mentoring to one or more lower level Information Security Analysts. Administer user access to systems, applications and functions. Job Requirements: Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley standards, regulations and compliance. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Have strong security infrastructure knowledge of iSeries.
