Sanitation Supervisor
Company Description:
Wholesale east coast bakery operation, producing fresh and frozen various sweet baked goods for nationwide distribution for over 100 years, is searching for a person with leadership skills to be our Sanitation Supervisor.
Job Scope:
Responsible for leading sanitation employees completing daily, weekly and monthly cleanup assignments, to comply with American Institute of Baking (AIB), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and company policy standards.
Steady second shift position.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Sanitation employees and inspect their work.
- Must demonstrate strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Need results oriented, dedicated person with a winning outlook. Losers work somewhere else.
- Coordinate supplies necessary to accomplish daily objectives.
- Identify challenges and concerns, communicate and take corrective action.
- Monitor and train personnel on safe work practices.
- Comply with standard operating procedures including Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Communication, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, Allergen Clean-Ups, and Lockout/Tagout.
Prior sanitation experience necessary. Bakery and or food background a plus.
Bilingual a major plus.
