Summary: Sells manufactured products and/or services to multiple food service market segments (Commercial, Non-Commercial, and YUM) within multiple regions by performing the following duties. Also responsible for development and management of all sales channels within defined regions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Â
Â
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
Provide direct support to key customers through proactive assistance with menu vision expansion, maintaining quality excellence brand standards, leveraging technology and/or improved operational methods to increase BOH restaurant efficiencies, and creating partnerships with other core suppliers.
Solicits orders from prospective customer and distribution networks through electronic communications and frequent travel throughout assigned region.
Responsible for training and demonstration of product to customers and distribution networks, providing an emphasis on salable features.
Provides quotations with terms and conditions for requested products and communicates delivery dates with customer and/or distribution networks, based on manufacturing production, delivery times and customs release.Â
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
Prepares business plans, reports business activities, forecasts, and maintains budgeted expense accounts.
Develop sales strategies and assists with coordination of marketing initiatives that will increase gross sales, profitability, and market saturation for the assigned region.
Coordinates customer training.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
Attends trade shows.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or industry related technical school preferred, but not required. Seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written communications, verbal communications, financial reports, and legal documents.Â
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.Â
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

Certificates and Licenses:
CFSP, ACF, Servsafe, and other industry related certifications preferred, but not required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 0-2 employees and/or multiple distribution networks within the given international region(s).
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees and/or distribution partners; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees and/or distribution partners; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Work Environment:
Work environments may be in formal office, hotel accommodation, and/or home-office settings.
Work environment to include frequent international travel exceeding departure to destination times of greater than 24 hours, including mediums of all types of public and private transportation.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
