Quality Supervisor (Direct) Call 805/306-0495Description: Our customer, a leader in the food packaging industry, has team with Volt to recruit a qualified Quality Assurance Supervisor. The successful candidate will keep informed of all quality procedures. Responsible for running the production floor and overseeing Quality Assurance Specialist performance. Monitor and enforce GMP, HAACP and any other food safety and quality programs throughout the manufacturing facility. Keep company management advised of all quality related problems. Other duties deemed appropriate by the Quality Assurance Manager.THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION. Requirements: One or more years of experience in food or drug manufacturing quality control are desired. Experience in the supervision of people in manufacturing environment. Knowledge in SPC, HAACP, Allergen Control and cGMP's.Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Microbiology, Food Science or other technical field.
